Building regulations

Party walls
When building near or on a shared boundary, you will very likely need to comply with the 1996 Party Wall Act. Although not particulary onerous or something that should put you off, it is definatley something that should be looked at earlier rather than later. Please download our brief introuduction. Manholes
Sometimes you might well have a manhole in or near to where you are planning your extension.
